Methodology
Transparency is one of our core values. This page explains how we collect, verify, and present data on Kenndaten.
1. Data Sources
We exclusively use publicly accessible, authoritative sources:
- Salary Data: Federal Employment Agency Entgeltatlas (2024 data). Median salaries for full-time employees.
- Software Comparisons: Vendor specifications, public documentation, user reviews on established platforms.
- AI Tool Data: Official documentation, pricing pages, independent benchmarks.
- City/Statistics Data: Destatis, State Statistical Offices, Eurostat.
- Course Data: Provider websites, public course directories, review platforms.
2. Quality Criteria
Every page passes our internal quality check before publication:
- Data Integrity: Every data point must be traceable to one of the sources listed above.
- Timeliness: Price information always includes a timestamp. Data older than 12 months is re-verified.
- Completeness: Comparison pages must include at least 3 providers/options.
- Neutrality: We receive no compensation from providers for placements or ratings.
- Minimum Depth: Each content page contains at least 350 words and 3 unique data points.
3. Editorial Process
- Research: Systematic collection of data from authoritative sources.
- Verification: Cross-validation with at least one additional independent source.
- Creation: AI-assisted text generation using structured data as a foundation.
- Review: Manual review by our editorial team before publication.
- Update: Regular review and updating of content.
4. AI Disclosure
We use artificial intelligence to structure data and create text drafts. Every published piece of content is reviewed and verified by our team before release. Our standard: AI-assisted, human-accountable.
5. Corrections
Errors can occur despite all diligence. If you find an error, please contact us at korrektur@kenndaten.de. We correct errors within 48 hours.
